My book “Healer” is published

DIGITAL_BOOK_THUMBNAIL (1)My first book is available through the Kindle Store.  The direct link to purchase it is on “Lisa, Townsend, Author” page on Facebook.  Please check it out!  I posted the live video below from FB also.  Some advice says to make them short, some say that they should be ten minutes minimum.  I suppose it depends on one’s tone of voice, presentation, and delivery as to whether people want to listen!  It’s an experiment. Plus, being a woman, who knows what the public will tolerate or want.  I’m just going to be myself.  I know you can’t please everyone nor do I care to.

The paperback will be available for sale between August 21 and 28, also on Amazon Kindle Store. The cover should be glossy and awesome, but the content is good too!  I’ve used the services of two editors and a proofreader, so yes, I care about what words I use and how I put them together.  It’s not cheap!  My next live video will talk about the main themes of the book and will probably be about five minutes long.  I’ll keep you posted.

For those that follow me on here, this is why I stopped posting to my blog.  I was too busy with the book and my son graduating from high school.  I will start looking at all of your blog posts again and I missed them! ❤  I love our writing community.  We writers are a different breed.  I will also be looking at other writers on here who have published books.  Cheers!

  1. Lisa Townsend is a great story teller, weaving not only her personal life story but also the foundations of what she believes and what motivates her. Real life, politics, and belief all rolled into one tapestry. Except it’s not a story but real life. With passion, honesty, and a level head, she talks about the men and women in her life, the family and the freinds, the many broken people and the few whole, the challenges and obstacles, the new life and the unexpected death, and the guts and courage it took to THRIVE in all that. Lisa is not a survivor… she’s a THRIVER. A highly intellectual and dynamic woman tells her story… and doesn’t hold back. But she doesn’t fill it with rhetoric. Just honestly.
